•    First Coronary Intervention Register for Bulgaria

As a social responsible Company Sopharma trading is supporting the society. That is why the Company developed First Coronary Intervention Register for Bulgaria. The project was started on the 1 st of June 2009.

First Coronary Intervention Register is unique initiative created due to the successful partnership between Sopharma Trading Jsc. and Bulgarian Association of Interventional Cardiology. The project is part of the Social Responsible Program that Sopharma Trading conducts during 2009 and 2010.

First Coronary Intervention Register is a specific database that contains information about the Patient – history of disease, personal data, and concomitant conditions, risk factors, coronary interventions data – date and place of the implemented coronary stents as well as data regarding the final result of the entire procedure.

National Register of Coronary Interventions is created according to the accepted by the European Cardiology Association Standard.

Main aim of the Register is to evaluate the medical practice on every day basis, as well as to follow the quality of services of the medical center/operator related to achieved results and eventual complications.

Register application gives the opportunity epidemiologic researches on the National basis to be held.

The operation of the First Coronary Intervention Register gives transparency and opportunity for control of NHIF.

As a member of EU Bulgaria cannot afford to lag behind the Global and European tendencies for regulation of all activities in the heart-vascular diseases” believes Mr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Executive Director of Sopharma Trading.


After the successful implementation of the Register Bulgaria is the first country  with Unified  National Register in the Southeastern Europe.

Currently the Register includes 13 centers, as 1200 patients from Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo Yambol and Sandanski are filed there.

 

          

 
•   Donations


Sopharma Trading activities aimed for society  wellbeing include donations of non prescription products, supplements and consumables given to Hospitals, Health centers, Senile homes, Children foster homes and others.

Total amount of the donations carried out in 2009 is more than 50 000 BGN.

Donations were kindly accepted by:

•    Senile Homes in Plovdiv, Burgas, V.Turnovo
•    Children foster homes in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, V.Turnovo and Varna
•    Hospitals and Health centers in Sofia and in the Country
