The establishment of Sopharma Trading JSC. in 2006 was a very successful project of Sopharma JSC. whereby a distribution company was set up, a part of the structure of the popular and recognized brand in the production of medicinal and pharmaceutical products, operating on the Bulgarian pharmaceutical market for more than 75 years.

Sopharma Trading JSC. has acquired its present form due to the merger of the five distributors - Sanita Trading, Caliman RTT JSC., Global Medical Ltd., Consumpharm and Elpharma.

In view of the successful accomplishment of this merger, the process of consolidation of these companies began as early as 2004. The beginning of the consolidation was set by the prevailing trend of globalization on the Bulgarian pharmaceutical market.

Today an indisputable proof of the successful consolidation and development of the Company is the total market share which Sopharma Trading JSC. gained in 2006 equlaing 15.6%, as compared to the total market share in 2010 equaling 24%.

Despite the difficult period of consolidation of the five distribution companies, Sopharma Trading JSC. started to opеrаte without interrupting the relations with the partners.
