Project “Developing and implementing a system for the information security under ISO 27001:2005 standard” in Sopharma Trading JSC
On June 1 this year, "Sopharma Trading" JSC signed a contract for a grant under the operational program "Development of the competitiveness of Bulgarian economy 2007 - 2013".
The operational program is with Priority axis 2: "Increasing efficiency of enterprises and development of supportive business environment," area of intervention 2.1: "Improving of the technology and business management", operation 2.1.2: "Compliance with internationally recognized standards”.
Realizing the project, "Sopharma Trading" JSC has the aim to:
- Ensure the flow of basic processes in the company, which retain all the properties of information and eliminate all processes and activities of its transmission and incorrect interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations relating directly or indirectly to information processing.
- Ensure basic processes with comprehensive, reliable and accessible information necessary for their conduct. In this respect, paying particular attention to the available ERP and other systems concerned critical for organization’s business.
- Prevent intrusion in the information’s security and inflicting damage to the assets of the organization, leading to considerable material and moral damages.
- Continuously improve the existing management systems (ISO, etc.) and increasing their effectiveness.
Through the introduction of the system, and also the implementation of the necessary equipment, we will increase our competitiveness and ensure our customers in continuity of the business processes in the company. Sopharma Trading will also ensure that the customer’s information will retain its integrity, availability and confidentiality.
